2017 PRIME TIME EMMY AWARDS
mDots produced the broadcast graphics package as well the screens graphics for the show. Screen graphics included creating "super graphic" projections for the 150+ nominees. The winner for each category was projected on to the soundstage set in the style of a large mural.
STAYIN' ALIVE: A GRAMMY SALUTE TO THE MUSIC OF THE BEE GEES
mDots designed the broadcast & screens graphics package as well as screens performance content. In addition to the Bee Gees, artists included Demi Lovato, DNCE, Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett, and many more.
2017 TONY AWARDS
The 71st annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall had mDots produce broadcast and screens graphic packages centered around a neon Tony Logo and other theatre-centric elements.
CAROL BURNETT SHOW 50th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL
mDots created the broadcast graphics for the 50th anniversary of The Carol Burnett Show. This included a recreation / interpretation of the the iconic The Carol Burnet Show animated title sequence.
GRAMMYS' GREATEST STORIES: A 60th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL
mDots was tasked with developing the broadcast graphics package for this special hosted by Carrie Underwood and John Legend. This retrospective broadcast included past archival footage, special interviews, and appearances by a number of Grammy winning artists over the years.
2017 KENNEDY CENTER HONORS
mDots provided broadcast graphics and screens graphics for this prestigious honors ceremony hosted at The Kennedy Center in Washington DC. This year the honorees were: Lionel Richie, Gloria Estefan, Norman Lear, LL Cool J, and Carmen de Lavallade. The opening of the show included performance vignettes choreographed to interact with our graphics which were animated and projected onto a scrim that sat between the performers and the audience---allowing the graphics, performers, and lighting to interact with each other. Screens content was also created for tribute performances by artists Misty Copeland, Emily Estefan, Stevie Wonder, Busta Rhymes, and many others.
MAZ JOBRANI: IMMIGRANT NETFLIX SPECIAL
mDots created the opening title animation for this Netflix comedy special held at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
2017 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS
The 2017 American Music Awards asked mDots to create screens graphics for the house look and awards looks to take advantage of the additional screens surfaces as well as convey depth. mDots also created performance content for Imagine Dragons, Kelly Clarkson, Khalid, and P!NK.
75th GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS AND ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL
mDots developed the graphics package for both the Golden Globe Awards main show as well as the Golden Globe Awards Anniversary Special. Graphics included lower thirds, nomination packages, main titles, transitions, countdown graphics, trivia graphics and highlight graphics.
